We have two beautiful yellow labs, Ginger and Chelsea, and noticed them scratching a lot and they didn't have fleas.  Then we heard that wheat products can cause that.  So we began our investigation and search for wheat free products.  We also changed their dry dog food to a rice based product.   Our web site “www.JustWheatFreeDogTreats.com” was created to help pet lovers besides ourselves quickly find healthy and wholesome dog treats and be able to do it in one place.  We immediately noticed the change when we switched to wheat free products.  It helped them immensely.  Their coats are very glossy and soft too. Continuing our research, we learned about the items and ingredients that are best for our furry companions.  Besides “Wheat Free” they are also free of corn and soy. Those ingredients are very popular for contributing to allergies in dogs. Not all dogs have allergies to all of these items.  Our two actually can handle eggs very well.  You can still have wholesome and healthy treats without taking a chance on causing possible problems for your pet.  We will continue to search for other products and add them to our product list.

We continue to scan the market for treats that meet these requirements. We also watch for other ingredients that are used for preservatives or supplements that have been know as possible irritants or can create long term health problems for fur-mates.
