Great Life - Irresistables There are many supplements on the market but the best one we have found is called “Irresistables” which is 100% freeze-dried “powdered” raw meat. The aroma alone should wet their appetites. It’s available in Lamb Liver, Beef Liver and Chicken Liver. This is a rich, high protean additive produced directly from meat. You can stir up the “Irresistables” with some water for a nice gravy. Sprinkle it over some of their current food. You can also sprinkle it over cooked vegetables (if they like veggies). We cook a large pot of sweet potatoes, yams, pumpkin and other veggies that they like. For dogs that are recovering from an illness, I have used canned pumpkin. The kind used for making pies (NO SEASONINGS). Somehow pumpkin settees and calms their stomachic’s. I stir in a couple of tablespoons of the “Irresistables” powder and a little sprinkling on top so they can get a good smell of the meat. |
